ElectroNymph

I was recently prescribed this and it's great for anxiety and panic attacks. It can make you a bit wobbly though!

Yes the beware of possible withdrawals. I was on gabap3ntin and got off of it 6 months later. Gabap3ntin is the weaker version that converts to lyric@ in your system. It was horrific withdrawals that were worse than opiates or benzos. I had to taper with extremely small steps. I'm off now and can't touch the stuff else kindling will put me back into withdrawals. If I could do it over again I would use it on an as needed basis and not daily.

Withdrawals from pregabalin are absolutely horrendous, be careful.

Find them fantastic, if you take 2 150mg capsules, and a benzo. Much nicer than Tramadol, but 3 times the price here. Favourite pain killer. Havent taken them for extended periods, so dont know about withdrawal. They take at least an hour to work, for me. They affect my vision in a funny way. I find I cant look at a computer screen, or watch a movie on them, as my eyes wonder. Weird stuff. I wouldnt drive or work on them, as you appear intoxicated, even on 2 150s.

I noticed nothing like that from lyrica, but I have never taken more than 200 at once, even when mixing with benzos. It is not even enough to stop my pinched back nerves.

People have benzo like feelings from it? Or gabapentin? I have never had that at all

Theres been quite a few drug overdoses which involve pregabbs in the uk lately however most are through polly drug use.Usually street drugs are also involved but I found them heavy duty esp if alcohol is involved i took a 300 mg captule with a couple of beers and was OUT of it and couldn't remember a thing about the night appart from a trip to A and E 😨.

Some seem to like them but I'd say beware of this new med that WAS easily obtained from GPs in the UK until they,re involvement in ODs!!.Of course they have a place in medicine but they seem to be getting heavily abused now.

Bliss....

I gave pregablin a go. Took 1 300mg tablet. I found them vile, I am no noob when it comes to op8's and benz. ( 20 years experience). I could not see, walk or talk properly. They went in the bin.

Perhaps the dose was way too high to begin with but 300mg capsules were the one's I had.

Be careful with these. Start low would be my advice and see if you can tolerate the side effects.

Conceited

I did 600mg for a first try of pregab. Looked in the mirror the morning after and had a black eye, plus a big  graze across my forehead. Not sure what happened that night. I was at home the whole time by myself.  Would of liked to have watched what I did to end up looking like I was in a fight.

Your tolerance builds up quick when using daily. Say a week of use and you don't get know noticeable effect of it. The withdraw is horrible as well, insomnia to the point where you think your going insane, body temperature fluctuation, loss of appetite. Its also known to cause psychological problems from long tearm use.

Great on the UK news other day said that precaps being too easily prescribed and abused, not that I get them from my doctor but ov now they will be on the doctors list not to prescribe along with benees, apparently 600 people died in UK last year!
